S-Bahn stop Olympiastadion Defective elevators - out of order until September 15

The elevators at the Olympiastadion S-Bahn station are currently out of service. Therefore, there is no barrier-free access available for people with limited mobility at the Olympiastadion S-Bahn station. S-Bahn Berlin expects the station to be operational on September 15, 2025.

The following alternatives are available:

• via the U2 subway line to the U-Bahn station U Olympia-Stadion. The platforms in the subway station are equipped with elevators. From the subway station, the distance to the entrance at the East Gate or the Visitor Centre at the Olympiastadion is approximately 600 m.
• via the S3 or S9 S-Bahn line to the S-Bahn station S Pichelsberg. The station is equipped with an elevator. From there, the distance to the entrance at the East Gate or the visitor center at the Olympiastadion is approximately 1.6 km, to the entrance at the South Gate approximately 1.2 km.
• via the S3 or S9 S-Bahn line to the S-Bahn station S Heerstr., then change to the M49 bus line to Flatowallee. From the Flatowallee stop, the distance to the East Gate entrance and the Visitor Centre is approximately 1 km, to the South Gate approximately 650 m.
