EURO 2024: We are in

Today the German Football Association selected ten out of 14 interested German cities to apply for hosting the UEFA EURO 2024. Berlin is also among them.

Timo Rohwedder, Managing Director of the Olympiastadion Berlin GmbH: We thank the German Football Association for showing us trust and appreciation.  Together with the city of Berlin we will do our utmost to lead the German application for the UEFA Football European championship 2024 for the German FA to success. Hopefully the rewards will be many thrilling matches and the final in Berlin.

The UEFA will announce its decision in September 2018. Not until then we will find out if the German FA wins the bid and how many matches will take place in Berlin.
