The house rulesof the Olympiastadion Berlin
The Rules of Conduct are an integral part of granting access to the Olympiastadion Berlin (stadium operator) for guests and employees. It applies on the entire enclosed stadium grounds, parking lot PO4, parking lot PO5 and the Olympiastadion Berlin (collectively referred to as the Premises). It is valid on all days in which events take place at the Premises as well as event-free days and to all persons staying at the Premises.
The aim of the Rules of Conduct is
- to prevent the endangerment or injury of persons and damage to property;
- to protect the stadium grounds and structures from damage and soiling or littering;
- to ensure the smooth running of events;
- to preserve the cultural and historical character of the stadium and the grounds as a landmark in the long term.
The stadium operator exercises the rights to enforce the Rules of Conduct at the Premises. During the events, the Rules of Conduct shall be enforced by the stadium operator, the organiser and the security services commissioned. Their instructions for the enforcement of the Rules of Conduct must be followed.
- When entering the Premises, every person is obliged to show the security staff, and on request also the police, their authorisation to enter the Premises without being asked and to hand it over for inspection on request, or to prove their authorisation to enter in another manner. In case of refusal, access will be denied. The validity and usability of the admission ticket are determined by the general terms and conditions for the sale of tickets for admission tickets of the respective organiser or the terms and conditions of participation and liability for the tourism programme in the Olympiastadion Berlin.
- The security service is entitled to check persons – also by using technical aids – to determine whether they represent a security risk due to alcohol or drug consumption or because they are carrying prohibited objects. With the consent of the persons concerned, the security service is entitled to control items of clothing and containers. Technical aids and equipment can also be employed and used for this purpose.
- Persons who cannot prove their authorisation to enter and be at the Premises and persons who pose a security risk or refuse to give their consent to a check will be refused entrance and prevented from entering the Premises. This also applies to persons against whom a national or international stadium ban has been issued. Visitors who were denied entrance are not entitled to a refund of the admission fee.
- Only persons who have a valid admission ticket or another admission authorisation (e.g. an accreditation or employee ID card) with them or who can prove their authorisation to be admitted in some other way are allowed to stay on the Premises. Admission authorisations must be presented on entering and within the Premises at the request of the police, the security service or authorised employees of the operator. Proof of identity must be provided in an appropriate manner on request. Persons who are found on the Premises without a valid admission ticket or other admission authorisation may be immediately ejected from the Premises without further explanation.
- Driving and parking within the Premises is only permitted with a special authorisation pass. The respective restrictions must be observed. In all other respects, the regulations of the Road Traffic Regulations (StVO) apply on the entire Premises, unless otherwise indicated.
- All persons entering the Premises must behave in such a way that no other person is injured, endangered or – more than is unavoidable under the circumstances – hindered or harassed.
- All persons entering the Premises must follow the instructions of the stadium operator, the police, the fire brigade, the security and rescue services and the stadium speaker. Anyone who deliberately or negligently fails to comply with these instructions may be removed from the Premises by the stadium operator, security service or the police.
- All stairs, entrances and exits as well as emergency, escape and rescue routes must be kept clear. Notwithstanding these Rules of Conduct, necessary further requirements may be announced on a case-by-case basis to prevent or eliminate danger to life, health or property. Instructions issued for this purpose by the police or the security service must be followed.
- All persons entering the Premises are requested not to carelessly throw away rubbish, packaging materials and empty containers, but to dispose of them in the rubbish bins located on the Premises. Attention must also be paid to the intended separation of the materials to be disposed of.
