eat! Berlin in the Cooking Club by Olympiastadion Berlin
On February 26, 2014 actress Marion Kracht – a vegetarian by conviction – and star chef Sebastian Frank will rattle the pots and pans for a vegetarian cooking class at the Cooking Club by Olympiastadion Berlin during the eat! Berlin festival.
Themed “meatless and happy” the cooking class participants are spoiled with vegan and vegetarian delicacies that are based upon the delightful organic food line vevenga. Participants will even learn how to recreate these culinary delights at home, so the sustainable and balanced cuisine can be adopted for home cooking. The background music is provided by singer and saxophonist Ina Brox and her guitarist Michel Diederich. The event starts at 6 pm.
Just one day later, on February 27, 2014, the next culinary highlight is set to take place at the Cooking Club by Olympiastadion Berlin. The main players for the evening will be Phillip Liebisch, named “Brandenburg’s Master Chef 2013′ and chef at the restaurant Sandak in Senftenburg, Matthias Diether, named “Berlin Master Chef 2013” and chef at the First Floor (Hotel Palace), Thomas Kammeier, chef at Hugos at the Hotel Intercontinental and Marco Müller, “Berlin Master Chef 2011”, who once created a meal for the Pope.
Between them, they have received eleven Chef Hat Awards from the panel at the restaurant guide Gault & Millau. Each chef will serve one course while the cellarer from Weingut Karl Schaefer will provide the guests with exclusive wines and knowledge about the wines and wineries throughout the evening. Austrian musician Fred Zedd will serve highlights in terms of music with his medley of self-written songs and great interpretations of the classics of rock and pop music.
Before indulging in great food and wine during the live cooking event on February 27, 2014, all participants will receive an exclusive tour through the Olympiastadion Berlin and the areas of the stadium usually not open to the public. An impressive behind the scenes look at this state of the art sports and event location awaits the participants.
