Mario Barth stages Tour Finale in Berlin
Next Stop: Olympiastadion Berlin! According to plan, a typical Berlin U-Bahn train crosses the stage that is made to look like the U-Bahn station Schlesisches Tor. After the train comes to stop, just one passenger emerges: mario Barth!
The Berlin native and comedian is about to start his last show of the four stadium tour stops of his current program “Männer sind peinlich – Frauen manchmal auch!”.
There are no better conditions for an open air event than this. The sun is shining over the Olympiastadion Berlin, there is not a cloud in the sky and the thermometer reaches comfortable temperatures.
But before the most successful German comedian of the present takes center stage, a framework program is set to start that is second to none.
The opening act is the German Rock band Revolverheld from Hamburg. The five guys on stage play a medley of their most popular songs during the half hour on stage. The Austrian newcomer Victoria S. was up next. The 17-year-old with her powerful voice sang just a few songs in the short span of 10 minutes. After a short break, the Norwegian hip hop stars Madcon showed the Berlin audience what modern hip hop is all about. After their 20 minute stint, Berlin native Sido took the stage.
After Sido had finished his show, it was time for the main act of the evening to take the stage. Mario Barth enchained his audience with his humor and jokes on the relationships between men and women. There were laughs guaranteed and a break was welcomed after an hour.
Break for Barth meant time for DJ Bobo to take the stage. The Swiss singer, dancer and talent enthused all 70.000 spectators at the stadium and had every last one of them dancing a choreography that has never been seen before in size. After his electrifying halftime show, Barth again took the stage for part two of his program. At the end of the night, Barth said goodbye to his fans with a fireworks display that enlightened the sky above the Olympiastadion Berlin on this beautiful summer evening.
