Tourism Information & opening hours in March
In May, the Olympiastadion Berlin is open regularly from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm. Due to various major events there will be restrictions – please check our opening hours before your visit.
You can either visit the stadium on your own or with a guide. Guided tours are available daily at 11:00 am, 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm in german language and 11:30 am, 1:30 pm, 3:30 pm in english language. On the 60-minute Highlight Tour, you will visit areas not open to the public. Tickets for all tours are best purchased in our ticket shop or – if still available – on site at the Visitors Centre. The Bundesliga season 2022/2023 is coming to an end. On Saturday, May 6th, 2023, Hertha BSC will face VfB Stuttgart at the Olympiastadion Berlin. For the 33rd matchday, Hertha BSC will welcome VfL Bochum on Saturday, May 20th, 2023. The stadium will be closed to visitors on these two days. Tickets for both home games can be purchased at the Hertha BSC ticket store.
On Friday, May 12th, and Saturday, May 13th, 2023, many exclusive whisky exhibitors from all over the world will meet in the Olympiastadion Berlin to present their finest, oldest and rarest drams at the Whisky Deluxe. Connoisseurs and exhibitors can spend two days sharing their passion and tasting rarities that have never been seen before in Germany. On Sunday, May 14th, 2023, the starting signal for Germany’s oldest road race, the S 25 Berlin, will be given in front of the Olympiastadion Berlin. Runners will cross the finish line after various distances in a unique setting on the blue track inside the stadium. On this day, the Olympiastadion opens for visitors at 3:00 pm. On Saturday, June 3rd, 2023, the Olympiastadion will once again host the DFB-Pokal final. As of Sunday, May 28th, the stadium can not be visited for individual sightseeing. Tours will still be available as offered in our ticket shop. Starting Wednesday, May 31st to Sunday, June 4th, the stadium will be closed to visitors due to setup and dismantling.
