Pyronale, ISTAF, Lolla: notices for tourists
The Olympiastadion Berlin has, once more, a lot to offer in late summer: three events occur in only seven days, which is why the visitor program has severe limitations. Tourists must notice the following due to Pyronale, ISTAF and Lollapalooza Berlin:
– due to the Pyronale, only guided tours are available on August 30th and 31st. The visitor program ends at 3 pm.
– due to ISTAF no visitor program on September 1st.
– due to set-up and dismantling work for Lollapalooza only guided tours are possible from September 2nd – 13th. No visitor program available on festival days, September 8th and 9th.
Please notice that before and after the events take place there may be restrictions or blockings on the site.

Pyronale – on August 30th and 31st the world-firework-championship will yet again turn the Maifeld at the Olympiastadion Berlin into a sea of stars. During “best of six” the winners from the past six years will compete against each other. Whoever does not want to miss this spectacular fireworks show: You can buy tickets here.
Following the Pyronale event, the stars of track will come together for the International Stadium festival (ISTAF) – at the Olympiastadion Berlin on September 1st. For numerous world-class athletes, the 78. ISTAF is an endurance test before the beginning of the world championship 2019 in Doha in four weeks. You can buy tickets here.
Music- and festivallovers should save the dates September 7th and 8th – Lollapalooza Berlin is celebrating its first anniversary after 5 years. For the second time, the site around the Olympiastadion and Olympiapark will host one of Europe’s biggest festivals. Look forward to another year of a Line-up with powerful, international Acts. Newcomer Billie Eilish, Kings of Leon, Swedish House Mafia and Rita Ora are going to be headlining the event. You can buy tickets here.
