Lollapalooza Berlin Ten Years - and counting!
„Happy Lolla-versary!“ Berlin dances to the sounds of j-hope, RAYE and Benson Boone
About 60 artists from all over the world and 60.000 guests per day Lollapalooza Berlin presented by Telekom celebrated one decade of music history.
Berlin, 13 July 2025 – That’s how you celebrate an anniversary! Even 10 years after the premiere, Berlin is still a magnet for international superstars and a guarantor for unique festival moments.
Bye bye clouds – the sun is taking over now on the festival grounds
Punctually with the start of the stage program – and in anticipation of the headliner “Sunshine” in the evening – the cloud cover broke up and bathed the Maifeld and the Olympic Stadium in golden light. The Fashion Stage kicked off with an energetic “Good Morning Set” by King Kong Kicks. On the Main Stage South, hyperpop newcomer FILLY set the bar high early in the day with a spectacular performance. And then a touch of nostalgia blew on the Telekom Main Stage: The band Juli created absolute gooseflesh and moments full of memories with anthems like “Perfekte Welle” and “Dieses Leben”.
Lolla fans were consistently confident with their lyrics and stylish: Whether it was indie rock from Mother Mother and Royel Otis, pop sounds from Wasia Project, or rap from the Texan BigXthaPlug, the Lollapalooza Berlin presented by Telekom was as diverse as its fans, who flocked to the capital from all over the world, on the second day as well.
It was especially stylish when Grammy-award-winning singer-songwriter RAYE took the main stage: glamorous and approachable at the same time – a performance full of strength, style, and soul. The evening held more highlights: Shooting star Benson Boone stormed Berlin with his world hits “Beautiful Things” and “Mystical Magical” and delivered an energetic 60-minute performance. Meanwhile, tech-house star John Summit shook the Perry’s Stage at the Olympic Stadium.
The highlight of the highlights at the Telekom Main Stage was the finale: The superlatives are almost insufficient to describe the hype surrounding K-Pop star j-hope. Blazing seas of lights, rehearsed choreographies, thousands of arms in the air, creative posters, and dancing fans with tears in their eyes—what a show! K-Pop officially took over Berlin on this unique evening. While the South Korean rapper captivated with his distinctive charm, the Berlin techno duo Brutalismus 3000 pumped the last energy into the legs of the fans at Perry’s Stage, providing a fitting conclusion to a special anniversary.
And the Journey continues – Lollapalooza Berlin returns in 2026
The Lollapalooza Berlin presented by Telekom continues: The festival will take place on July 18 and 19, 2026. The pre-sale will start soon. All information will be available soon at www.lollapaloozade.com.
