Olympiastadion Berlin wins Location Award 2014

The Location Award is the most important distinction of quality for Germany’s best venues. An eleven-person expert jury selected the Olympiastadion as outstanding event location. The award ceremony with 500 invited guests from the event and communication sectors took place at the Warsteiner Welt in Warstein.

The Olympiastadion Berlin asserted itself against 25 high-ranking competitors at the Location Award 2014, for example, the Commerzbank Arena in Frankfurt and the Lanxess Arena in Cologne. Joachim E. Thomas, CEO of the Olympiastadion GmbH, is happy to receive this award from the industry. “Every day, we are gladly working to achieve our customers’ full satisfaction. The Olympiastadion Berlin is a site of emotions and records and we put all of our enthusiasm for this unique place into the realization of extraordinary events – from big, international sport events to small, intimate family parties,” says the boss of the stadium. “We are very thankful for this wonderful prize.”
