Directions and plans

If you’re coming to the Berlin Olympic Stadium by bike, there are a total of about 600 bike parking spaces available. You’ll find them at the following locations:

• East Gate: Directly in front of and across from the two gatehouses (to the left and right of the Olympic rings)
• South Gate: On the left side (as you face the stadium)
• PO3: On the right side (as you face the stadium)
• Coubertinplatz: Corner of Jesse-Owens-Allee and Flatowallee

Take the S3 or S9 S-Bahn lines to the S Olympiastadion stop. From there, the stadium entrances are just a few minutes’ walk away:

• South Gate Entrance: Take the Flatowallee exit (about a 200-meter walk). (Available only on event days)
• East Gate Entrance: Take the Trakehner Allee exit (about a 250-meter walk).

Average travel time
Thanks to its central location, you can quickly reach the stadium from various transportation hubs in Berlin:

• 7 minutes from the Spandau S-Bahn station
• 14 minutes from the Zoologischer Garten S-Bahn station
• 23 minutes from the Friedrichstraße S-Bahn station
• 26 minutes from the Alexanderplatz S-Bahn station

Take the U2 subway line directly to the U Olympia-Stadion stop. From there, it’s just a short walk to the stadium grounds:

• East Gate Entrance: About a 500-meter walk.
• South Gate entrance: approx. 870 m on foot.

Average travel time:
The U2 line connects the stadium directly to major transportation hubs in the city:

• 2 minutes from the Ruhleben subway station
• 13 minutes from the Zoologischer Garten subway station
• 25 minutes from the Potsdamer Platz subway station
• 36 minutes from the Alexanderplatz subway station

Several bus routes will take you right to the Olympic Stadium in Berlin:

• Lines M49 and 218: Ride to the Flatowallee stop. From there, it’s just a short walk to the stadium.
• Lines 143 and 349: Take them to the Neu-Westend subway station.

From Neu-Westend, take the
If you take Line 143, you have two options for getting to the stadium:

• On foot: You can walk the rest of the way directly to the stadium.
• By subway: Transfer to the U2 line and ride one stop to the U Olympia-Stadion station.

There are several public parking lots available around the stadium grounds. Please note that parking fees may apply during events.

Important Note: Please note that there is a weight limit of 2.8 metric tons per vehicle in all of the parking areas listed above.

We recommend that you use public transportation to get here on event days.
